Objectives:
The course has the following objectives:
(1) To reflect on and better live up to your organisation’s values and expectations.
(2) To better understand what constitutes unacceptable behaviour, including harassment and bullying, in the workplace.
(3) To reduce ambiguity about the nature of employee and management requests and what makes requests or accommodations reasonable.
(4) To reinforce ideas about professionalism and professional behaviour.
(5) To be able to evaluate and create Codes of Conduct.
Outcomes:
By the end of this course, you will:
(1) Have advanced your professionalism overall and understanding of what constitutes (and does not constitute) professional behaviour.
(2) Be able to better demonstrate your own professionalism in your working context.
(3) Be better able to handle requests and avoid misunderstandings or similar issues.
(4) Be able to identify and avoid any negative behaviours in the workplace.
(5) Understand and have evaluated numerous dimensions of a Code of Conduct.
